About Nora

I am a graduate Master’s student of Yerevan State University faculty of Romance and
Germanic Philology with excellent academic progress: majoring in translation and interpretation
studies of English and Armenian.
Last two years I have been involved in internship programs at United Nations Organization in
the Republic of Armenia. Luckily, I was extended an opportunity to be a key participant in the UN
Country team during the critical year of development, right when the world was wrapping up the
achievements of the Millennium Development Goals and launching a new development framework
of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as Post-2015 development agenda.
I was assisting United Nation Resident Coordinator’s (UNRC) Unit’s activities at the country
level by supporting the team in arranging various meetings, workshops, drafting official
correspondence, translating UN documents from English into Armenian and vice versa, and
providing day-to-day administrative and organizational support.
