Qualifications & Experience

As an instructor I have the potential to interact with students at all stages of development and from all walks of life. A great teacher wants to help students along this path and to play a part in shaping the person they will ultimately become. If you want to help a child struggling with low self-esteem etc, then become a teacher to encourage them and help them realize their potential. Becoming a teacher lets you impart life lessons that they will never forget and puts you in a position to influence their decisions, behaviors, strengths, weaknesses and imaginations. Essentially, becoming a teacher lets you take part in shaping the next generation. As an instructor I always am the one who sets the tone for the course in terms of etiquette and netiquette. My students will look to me for cues. My experience is to model the professional for the students in online communication and participation. Be explicit about how I want to be addressed in the course as the community's leader and facilitator. What makes me unique is my positive attitude towards life and my overall passion towards student success. There are many qualified candidates in the field of education, but I am not only qualified, but also love being able to help others reach a goal that perhaps they thought was unattainable, and by helping students in any circumstance realize their potential in every aspect of their life. My desire to engage, challenge, and inspire growth in my students is not limited to the classroom. It is my goal to share with students the awe and excitement, as well as the dedication and hard work. I strive to become a skilled thinker and learner, and I believe that this process is life-long. I attempt to inspire growth in my students by giving them tools to take into other domains of their life. Among these tools are a sense of curiosity, open-mindedness, and a thirst for knowledge. One of the greatest goals I have is to teach my students to become motivated, insightful, and enthusiastic thinkers.
