I started teaching high school math in 1995 in the Los Angeles Unified School District in East Los Angeles, where I taught for 4 years. I have also taught secondary (6-12) math and science in Las Vegas, NV (5 yrs); New Orleans, LA (2 yrs); and Albuquerque, NM (4 yrs). I also love to travel, and I have visited 40 of the 50 US states (40/50 = 80%), lived in 10 of those states (10/50 = 20%), and been to 20 foreign countries so far. I also lived in Saudi Arabia for 3 years. I love to travel, but I haven't done much traveling ever since my kids were born starting in 2010. I must admit, though, I have the wanderlust, so I hope to get back to traveling the world and seeing countries in South America, Africa, and, of course, Australia!
