I have been working with and tutoring students for over 11 years. My strengths are motivating students and helping them gain confidence to work towards and obtain their full potential. I specialize in Middle school math, Algebra 1, Environmental Science and Biology. I am a special education teacher with a masters in education as well as highly qualified to teach math. My classroom typically looks like a group students working on independent assignments at their own pace. I will work to identify each student's ideal learning style and use that information to form my individual lessons.
Prior life experience includes a BS in sales and marketing and 15 years experience working for successful manufacturing, importing and sales companies. My desire to work with others brought me to the field of education. I am employed as a teacher in a public high school and enjoy working with and helping my students learn educational tools and well as life strategies and find success.
