Spanish and European History tutor

About Bill

As a licensed middle school teacher, I have had the opportunity to help students with various learning differences improve in many areas, including reading comprehension, opinion writing and public speaking, understanding historical themes, and study habits. Based on my undergraduate education from Northwestern University, which includes a minor in Spanish, as well as my teaching experience an training, I am able to tutor middle and high-school students in American and world history and elementary Spanish. After graduating college, I worked for a number of years in the professional theater as an actor and part-time teaching artist before transitioning to education. My most recent position has been with a classical charter school. My years teaching have taught me that each student learns differently and desires to approach schoolwork without feeling burdened, which puts me in an excellent position to be able to tailor my tutoring style to each student's goals and success.
