Looking for a tutor in English, elementary school math, French, Spanish, or Italian? Hi, I’m Claire! I am passionate about helping others gain confidence in their academic abilities. I have 4+ years of tutoring experience, teaching all ages from preschool to high school. My approach is to create a kind, judgement-free environment where students can feel safe and develop their skills. The subjects I teach are English (essay-writing and grammar), elementary school math, Spanish, French, and Italian. I am fully vaccinated and available for both in-person and virtual tutoring. Qualifications:
- As someone with a highly writing-intensive major, I am skilled at crafting persuasive and well-organized essays.
- With so much writing experience, I also have a solid understanding of grammar and mechanics. I have four years of experience in Latin, which is the backbone of grammar for English and Romance languages.
- I have a concentration in Translations Studies, where I specialize in Romance language literatures and texts (Spanish, French, and Italian, specifically). I am categorized as Proficient in all three of these languages.
- As a student who took many Accelerated and AP level math courses in high school, I am adept in the basic math skills needed to teach elementary math.
