About Samantha

Why not learn from someone who has over 6 years of tutoring experience, is committed to helping you improve, and is a published author?

Over the years I have developed a passion for teaching and I personally love seeing my students grow and thrive. Middle schoolers, peers, collegiate scholars and even disabled adults have benefited from my ever-maturing tutoring capabilities. Specifically, I have been employed by TRIO (which is a program that provides tutoring for low-income individuals, first-generation/non-traditional college students, and individuals with disabilities) and The Plangere Writing Center as well as I volunteered as a tutor at my local middle school. I have worked with students ranging from 10 to 55 years old and have also successfully assisted students with learning disabilities. I have experience tutoring writing, English, math, statistics, psychology, SAT, ACT, and GED but my passion sits within English and Writing. Whether it be writing college essays, personal statements, scholarship applications, research papers, and more, I know that every piece of work flourishes under the hands of a tutor.

With the collaboration of a team, I recently became a published author (in Behavioural Brain Research Journal), which resulted from over 1,000 hours of work in a neuroscience research lab. In addition to this, I have received A's in all college level writing/English courses, which is also a product of my hard work and dedication. With these accomplishments accompanied by my extensive tutoring experience, I am more than confident that I can help you, or your child, achieve the grade that is desired.

Regardless of your circumstance, whether it is writing a high school/college essay, studying for a standardized exam, or writing an essay to get into the university of your dreams, I have been in your shoes and can definitely help!
