Whether learning in person or remotely, my students are constantly engaged, motivated and learning! With intense focus on engagement and high expectations, my students benefit from a positive yet rigorous learning experience. I have expertise in developing academic momentum in K-3 readers. My teaching consists of direct instruction, contextual practice, and academic games, all facilitated with a constant attention to the current science based research. I have experience tutoring K-6 of all skill levels and subject areas, as well as ACT and SAT prep. During the 2020-2021 school year, I jumped at the chance to teach remotely and excelled in maintaining engagement, participation and growth.
