I am a faithful Christian women, I have been blessed to work with many ability levels and receive my patience from the Lord. I have worked with all ages preschool level to adult level. I am able to teach the same concepts many different ways changing my style to suit the individual for their unique style. I build relationships with those I help so that I know their strengths and weaknesses and can build upon them. I have taught for public schools grades 4th, 5th, middle school: English, history, Mock Trial, Theater and math; high school English, GED courses, STEM, Migrant, Adult Ed, adult ESL, and continuation grades 9-10. I retired 2 years ago from public schools but continue to teach part-time on occasion and homeschool my children and their friends, preschool to 2nd grade ages. I have also been a Program Manager and developed my own curriculum while homeschooling using California standards as a guide to monitor progress. I run my family’s Pistachio business. I am available for tutoring in person or online but I travel between my homes in California and North Carolina depending on the season. I also have a counseling degree and enjoy helping individuals find their calling and their individual path. I look forward to learning how I can help you be a more confident you.
