Throughout my lessons, I aim to be respectful and empathetic to my students and their families. I realize that it is my job to keep students motivated and on task within the classroom setting. One of the great aspects of heytutor is that individual students have my full attention during their courses. I encourage and appreciate parental involvement to maximize student learning. The majority of my teaching background, and my preference, is early childhood pedagogy. I promise to devote the necessary time, energy and resources to give thorough and descriptive feedback to you and your students at the summation of each lesson.

Research shows that quality early education programs, like heytutor promote resiliency in children. I choose to forgo punitive measures in my classroom, in concerns to managing challenging behavior, and redirect students through positive reinforcement by providing choices within the learning environment. Every child can learn, but not every child will learn the same way! I enjoy getting to know students and parents. I focus on their interests and utilize learning modalities that best suit their needs and preferences. Playful, patient and persistent are the three adjectives that best describe my teaching style. I look forward to working with you and your student. Onward and upward!
