I hold a Bachelor's degree in Religion and biblical studies with 5+ years of experience in student tutoring. I have a Master's in History with a focus in Ancient and Classical History, Ancient Near East History, European History, and Colonial American History. As a historian, my work has been published in university sponsored journals. I have expert knowledge of MLA, APA, and Chicago/Turabian writing formats. I am currently the director of the Rural Nash Historical Society in Eastern, North Carolina. In addition to my BS and MA degrees, I am currently working on my PhD in Education from Liberty University with a focus on the impact of peer-mentoring on student persistence in higher education.
