Hi, I'm Jacqueline! I am a lifelong learner and my passion is helping students achieve their goals. I am an experienced ICU and ER nurse who loves teaching. I have 4+ years of experience tutoring nursing students and precepting new nurses. My favorite subjects are anything related to healthcare, nursing, pathophysiology, and anatomy/physiology. I have taken many standardized tests and enjoy helping students succeed with test taking strategies (ACT, SAT, TEAS, NCLEX etc.) I am CCRN, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certified. In nursing school, I graduated top of my class with a 4.0 GPA which is how I initially got into professional tutoring... because my instructors asked me to start tutoring some of my freshman classmates.

My philosophy of education is that is should be individualized and relevant to the student. One-on-one tutoring can be highly effective because it allows me as the tutor to quickly identify strengths and weaknesses and focus specifically on the areas where the student needs assistance. Additionally, I believe tutoring ought to help the student achieve not only the right answers but also the bigger picture. My desire is to help make the connection between academics and the real world with clinical applications and practical everyday life examples.
