Hey! Thanks for checking out my profile. I am finishing up my doctoral degree in History from Ohio State University. That really just means that I've read a whole lot of books and written a whole bunch of papers. My academic background includes significant training in grammar usage and mechanics so I am well prepared to help with any and all of your writing and grammar needs. Plus, I was a K-12 literacy teacher before starting graduate school so I can also help improve reading comprehension for young students and/or offer strategies for how to approach dense texts for learners in advanced settings. As you may have guessed, my graduate studies have prepared me particularly well to assist with any Civics, Social Studies, U.S., and Global history needs. You should also know that I am incredibly organized and would love to share general strategies to help you get the most out of your studies or develop a strong study plan that works for you!
My approach centers on student strengths. After discussing what you need and your goals, I like to learn what works best for you (and we can figure that out if you don't know!). This allows our sessions to be designed for efficiency and maximum learning growth while easily tracking progress. I'd love to chat about your academic needs & goals and how I might be able to support. Please reach out for additional information regarding my qualifications or if you think we might be a good fit.
Here's to your academic success,
