I am fully trained in how to teach phonics and phonemic awareness, meaning I can teach your struggling reader to become fluent and proficient. For more advanced readers, I have the knowledge and experience to push your child’s thinking about a text to deeper levels, and to write about reading in a more in-depth way- in preparation for middle/high school essays.
In math, I have a full understanding of common core and NC math standards (the new math). I can teach your child how to conceptually understand the topic in which they are struggling.
