About Umar

Hello! My name is Umar Mirza and I have been a private tutor for 5 + years. As a former middle college student of Merancas Middle College High School and a current university student at North Carolina State University, I understand the important of education the major role it plays in our lives. Therefore, I have dedicated myself to helping others learn through affordable and beneficial services such as in-person and virtual/online tutoring.

Throughout high school, I received the opportunity to work at a tutor franchise as an Instructor and then later a General Manager. This experience taught me the importance of relearning certain topics in order to prepare one for the future.

Additionally, I try to work directly and diligently with the teacher or instructor of the student in order to ensure that I discuss the topic with the student fully, or to the extent that they are expected to know. This allows the student to be able to learn more efficiently so they are prepared for tests without assistance. Additionally, this allows the teacher to understand a student's commitment to their class and wanting to succeed in the course.

My Experiences as a Student:
Throughout high school, I have completed many Advanced Placement and college-level classes through dual enrollment including AP Calculus BC, all honors classes and many Advanced Placement credit courses. Additionally, I spent my last two year of high school at a middle college working to achieve an Associates Degree and credits for future college alongside real, current college students in a college setting with a college professors.
