I began my teaching pursuits as a sophomore at the University of Missouri, tutoring students and student athletes in accounting, finance, spanish, and multiple humanities courses. I continued tutoring throughout my undergraduate career and Master of Accountancy Program. In 2015, as a second-year law student, I became an Adjunct Instructor for the University of Missouri Finance Department. I taught two sections of the business minor requisite course titled “Finance 2000” beginning Fall 2015 until my graduation from the law school in May 2017. As a Finance Adjunct Instructor, I independently developed curriculum and instruction for my students. I set progress goals to ensure student success, assessed student achievement on a biweekly basis, and maintained weekly office hours to engage those students requiring additional instruction. In addition to my work as an Adjunct Instructor, I served as a Teaching Assistant in the first-year law student Legal Research and Writing course. gained tax law experience as a Teaching Assistant in a Master of Accountancy Tax Research course during the Fall 2016 semester
