About Taylor

Hello! I am a 2013 graduate of Missouri State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and an area of emphasis in Early Childhood Education. I also attained my Master’s degree from MSU in 2018 with my studies being concentrated in Teaching and Learning with an emphasis in Reading and Teacher Leadership. I have six years of experience working as a fourth-grade teacher in the Nixa Public School District in Nixa, Missouri. Before my teaching career began, I had great opportunities to work in banking, the animal healthcare field, and customer service. In addition to teaching in a brick and mortar school, I have also taught for VIPKID since February of 2018. This has given me experience teaching students who live in China through an online/remote platform.
