I have a Bachelor's of Science in Pure Mathematics with emphasis in Statistics. My professional experience includes Statistical Programmer Analyst at the Mayo Clinic and Accounting Analyst at Local Public Utilities (i.e Duke Power).
My approach is as unique as each student regardless of age, grade level, or subject matter....I learn just as much from students I work with as they do from me. I have struggled myself so I can relate...we just need to find your lightbulb for the subject matter at hand (yes - you do have it even if you don't know it yet =)
My expertise for tutoring both the ACT and Newly released SAT has led to students raising their scores 300+ - Again, I struggled myself with standardized tests so I've found a few methods for identifying your test-taking strengths (again, yes, you have them =) and determining what will work best because it's all about each individual person.
