As a programmer with a background in mathematics, as well as a writer, I am constantly on the lookout for opportunities to share my skills in any areas that pertain to my aspirations. For that reason, I have been successfully tutoring students of all ages over the course of the past 8 years.

My experience helping students achieve proficiency in mathematics began 9 years ago at a Kumon center. During this time, I frequently assisted students in completing their assignments accurately and quickly. While the subject matter itself ranged from arithmetic to Calculus, one thing that remained consistent is the core of my approach: to help students apply their existing knowledge and skills in solving new problems.

Since graduating high school and moving through college, I have moved toward private meetings with regular students. The most important aspect of maintaining a successful relationship with a student is consistency in how I approach our lessons. To this end, I've successfully guided students through curricula ranging from elementary to early college level. I have encountered many different learning styles and personalities, and I find it rewarding to get to know my students on a personal level and ensure their success in the process.
