I started tutoring right after I graduated Haverford College in 2010. Since then, I've worked for two different companies, managed an entire branch of a tutoring business, wrote content for McGraw-Hill study guides as well as SAT/ACT study apps, and I now own my own tutoring business.
With over 6000+ hours of experience, I've worked with hundreds of students and kept close track of their progress. Students can expect to improve their ACT scores a half point and their SAT scores 15-20 points for each hour of tutoring with me. My approach is rigorous and focuses on strategies, content and the endurance required to sit for a 4-hour test. You can expect to work your butt off with me but see great results! :)
In my free-time, I pursue my hobbies. In 2016, I became a PADI and SSI Open Water Scuba Instructor after living in Roatán, Honduras for three years. Diving in Maine is an absurd idea, but I'm willing to try it out one of these days. On the weekends, you'll find me reading a book, going for a trail run (or snowshoe run), finding my next photography project or brewing my own cider.
