Chemistry tutor

About Michelle

Beyond my education, which includes both a BS and a PhD in Biochemistry and Immunology, respectively, I have been tutoring and/or teaching Chemistry for years. I've been teaching college level General Chemistry for 6 years at a local community college, where I've had the opportunity to lead over one thousand students, with a whole range of abilities, through chemistry. My college students have given me consistently positive student evaluations. In addition, I've been doing one-on-one private tutoring with high school (all levels of Chemistry including AP Chem) and college (both Gen Chem I and II) for 3 years. Through experience, I've learned the pitfalls, the common areas of confusion, and I've also learned how to best explain chemistry, making it understandable and enjoyable.
