I have been playing the violin since age 12. I am a professional violinist with 25 years of experience. I have performed with many orchestras in the Washington, DC area including National Chamber Orchestra, National Gallery of Art, Maryland Symphony, among others. I have taught in public schools. Private schools, and on the university level. Teaching is my passion. It challenges me to impart my knowledge to the enhancement of my student’s abilities. I am a very encouraging, patient, kind, and motivating teacher. I can teach you the technique, musicianship, and skills you need to become an accomplished violinist. I can prepare you for college auditions, orchestral auditions, solo, or chamber recitals. If you just want to play for fun as an amateur I can help you learn and grow to enjoy your violin playing and music making. Whatever your personal goals are I will help you reach them!
