My name is Frank B. Phillips. I am a retired public school educator from Prince George’s County Public Schools. In my twenty years as a fulltime educator and nine years as a Substitute Teacher, I have taught students from Pre-K to Grade 12. I retired from teaching to become an entrepreneur. I developed an educational app and a marketing app. My years as an educator were most memorable, which is why I would like to tutor and mentor the next generation of learners.
Although I taught every core subject, I am most proficient in the teaching of Reading / Language Arts and Math. I have tutored students at school and at home during my 29 in education. I am currently tutoring a student in D.C. I have been tutoring him since 3rd Grade. He is now a high school senior and an athlete. We are currently working to bring up his SAT and ACT scores. It is my desire to teach another generation about the value of being good in Reading and Math.
