English is my first language but I am very fluent in French and learning Spanish. I enjoy learning about different cultures and reaching the heart of my students in a way that draws on their background, learning style, strengths, and motivations!
I have taught the MCPS Math, Reading, Writing, Sciences, and Social Studies curriculum in a French Immersion elementary school. I switched over to middle school to teach French as a foreign language. Before becoming a teacher and after becoming a teacher, I have worked with children with autism in home-based programs for learning life skills, tutored children on the autism spectrum, tutored elementary, middle, and high school students as well as adults in a variety of subjects.
