About Seth

I am Seth Nowak, a rising college junior. I was homeschooled and am attending Patrick Henry College, a private, classical school with a reputation for academic excellence. Since high school, I have excelled in English and writing. My ACT score landed me in the top 1% nationally, and I scored a 35 and perfect 36 on the English and reading sections, respectively. In both college and high school, I have had experience peer reviewing papers, and my writing scores have consistently remained some of the highest in my class. If your student wants to improve mechanics, research, style, or any component of writing, I am willing and able to work with him or her. Everyone has different strengths and weaknesses as a writer. My tutoring emphasis is on meeting students where they are at and helping them become writers who think critically about their own work. That said, I also strive to make writing as fun and rewarding as possible! I am happy to tutor students of any age or writing ability, although high school students and students headed for college will probably find me most helpful.
