I am currently a student at Northeastern University studying computer science and mathematics. I most recently worked as an online, chat-based tutor for Apex Learning Virtual School and as an online tutor for Varsity Tutors before that.
My two favorite subjects, computer science and math, happen to be many students' least favorite subjects because of their difficulty and apparent irrelevance to everyday life. As a tutor I can't just make the math and cs problems less difficult, but I can help students realize that they are as capable of solving them as anyone else, and make them more fun to solve in the process.
