My name is Rebecca Veilleux and I love learning and teaching about science and nature. I have been a High School Biology/Environmental Science for over 19 years. I enjoy teaching what I love and helping students make connections to real-world situations. My classes are high-energy and interactive and encourage students to be at the forefront of their learning. Many of my classes include hands-on activities and labs to engage students and push them to think like scientists.
Online tutoring is awesome because it is so much easier to get 100% attention from students and we will have productive sessions.
I have a strong background in curriculum development and tailor my classes to meet the needs of ALL of my students. I will be happy to work with you to meet the needs of your child.
On a personal note, I am a mom to my son Jax, 9, my puppy Ortiz, and my cat Phoebe. I enjoy going on nature walks, bird-watching, and spending time with my family.
