Hello! My name is Joe J. I am a former educator, now pharmacist who absolutely loves education and advocating for educational equity for all students. A New Orleans native with 4 degrees, I’ve been privy to amazing teachers and professors as well as those who struggled in their teaching capacity. In my role as an educator, I taught both AP Biology, AP Chemistry and Calculus at the secondary level and Gen. Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Algebra and Calculus I & II at the Collegiate/Post-Secondary level as well. Additionally, I've successfully assisted students in Pharmacy based courses. I love learning and seeing the lightbulb moment go off in students’ heads, which lets me know that our academic journey has been reinforced through some concept or idea that their mind has registered!
I have also taught Geometry and Trigonometry at the high school level when needed.
