My name is Beth Callahan, and I'm about half way through my M.S. in Accounting. Currently, I'm in my 11th year of teaching high school Business and Spanish at Williamsburg Independent School District in Williamsburg, KY. I'm hoping to transition out of the classroom and into an administrative/accounting role. Teaching is not for me, and God knows I've tried! My husband is Dan Callahan, and I have two daughters, Rachel and Amber. Rachel is 18 and graduates from high school this year. Amber is 14 and in 8th grade. Poor Dan - even the cats are female! I enjoy running/walking in my free time, and I completed my first half marathon in November of 2016. My passion is travel, and I am hoping to give students the opportunity to travel through our new charity called Journeys for Appalachian Youth. My husband and I feel passionate about traveling being important for young people; however, most in our area can't afford it.
