I was born in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, but have lived in Lexington, KY for over fifteen years now. I graduated from MSTC (the Math, Science and Technology Center) at Paul Laurence Dunbar High School.
I graduated from the University of Kentucky with a B.S. in Computer Science and a Math Minor in December 2018 with a 3.9 GPA. I also graduated with a B.A. in Psychology from UK.
I've tutored for over four years now, and have worked with students on Math (prealgebra, algebra, geometry, algebra 2, precalculus, calculus, linear algebra), Stats, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Social Sciences, Grammar, Writing, English, Spanish, ACT, SAT, GRE, and chess. I've worked with students on the remedial, general, advanced, and AP/IB levels. I've worked with elementary school students as well as grad students.
Each student and each situation is unique, but at the core, I want to ensure that each student is confident with the fundamentals, so they can then build from there. By starting with fundamental principles and progressing gradually, even the most complex ideas are within reach.

Really Good teacher and Awesome Person.
Atanas was a great fit for high school AP physics! He was punctual, knowledgable, patient, relatable to teenagers, and conveyed the material in an easily understood manner. I think my daughters may actually begin to enjoy the subject matter rather than considering it a chore.
