I have a PhD in experimental physics and a love for all sorts of knowledge. I have taught a wide variety of undergraduate physics and math.
I seek to help students connect their own previous knowledge, experience, and intuition to new concepts to create a robust web of knowledge. When students work to construct such interconnections, the concepts are more likely to make sense and to be retained.
I try to make the learning experience engaging through lively discussions, relevant examples, challenging sample problems, and a personal connection. I can facilitate learning, but ultimately, the learning must be done by the student.
