I am James Eric Watkins, published writer, poet, and photographer. While working at Ivy Tech Community College for five years I obtained an Associate Degree in General Studies, and was only one class away from earning another Associate Degree in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Social and Behavioral Science. In Madison, Indiana, I taught many students how to write essays and use the computers, as well as the printers. I took the tutor training to teach adults to read at the Jefferson County Public Library. And since September of 2020, I have published twenty-one poems, five photographs, and four paintings (as well as many other pieces prior to this time).
