I have a decade of experience in the classroom teaching Spanish language and culture to students in kindergarten through high school. I am a full-time tutor now with experience teaching first- and second-grade curriculum, with emphasis on reading comprehension and phonics. I love to incorporate various learning strategies to meet the needs of all my students. I have experience creating and implementing curriculum which meets the Indiana DOE standards for World Language. I am currently enrolled in school to receive my ESL certification and receive a second master's degree, this time in English Language Learning. I have a passion for education, a broad understanding of many teaching methods, and a desire to see my students achieve and excel.
