I have fifty years of experience in finance and accounting. My work experience includes finance or accounting positions with The Securities and Exchange Commission of the United States, Department of Justice, United Airlines, Continental Bank, and the Export-Import Bank of the United States. Prior to that I served in the United States Air Force. I am currently President of Financial Understanding Now, LLC. where we focus on financial education and literacy. I am a certified K-12 Substitute Teacher in the state of Illinois. I have held adjunct/part-time accounting and finance professor positions at Triton College, Roosevelt University, and the American Bankers Association.
