My life as a tutor began back in high school where I helped out with an after school enrichment program for fellow peers. Thats when I realised I had a passion for making confusing school work make sense to others. When I lived in Spain from 2013-2014 I taught English as a Second Language in an elementary and middle school. To communicate is to care, share, and connect with each other. So, the goals for my student’s are based on that philosophy. To see them achieve higher levels of English proficiency is especially rewarding. Then in college I started a mentor program within my major of Communication Sciences & Disorders at Saint Xavier University. In addition to my tutor experiences in an academic setting, I have been compensated for individual tutor services for high school math, english, Spanish, and ACT prep. I look forward to forming a collaborative relationship with each student and confident we can create a positive and goal oriented approach that caters to your needs!
