I am a dedicated elementary teacher who enjoys working with students. They were the reason I entered the teaching profession in 1978. Throughout my teaching career, I received positive feedback from my administrators and parents. I also was acknowledged in 'Who's Who among America's Teachers': the best teachers in America selected by the best students.. Now that I have retired from teaching in a public school, I am able to provide individualized instruction and help boost confidence in every child's learning through tutoring. My tutoring approach varies with each student I work with but my goal stays the same - provide positive encouragement and persistence. I believe that any student who can be motivated to learn and will work hard will do better and be more successful. I want to be able to influence more students’ lives, which is so rewarding.
