I am a passionate instructor with several years of high school and college level teaching experience in accredited academic institutions. I have been attached with academia since I graduated from Michigan State University (MSU) in 2003 with a PhD in Mechanical Engineering. After completing my MBA from University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2011, I expanded my skill set and have been tutoring students requiring assistance in several courses at K-12, undergraduate and graduate level.
My teaching philosophy is to explain the content, give enough practice problems and quiz the student to reinforce key concepts. I believe in open communication and build confidence in student to ask questions as many time as he/she wishes. I never lose my temper while instructing and always try to explain material in multiple ways until my student becomes comfortable.
