Hello! My name is Sophia and I am a Florida grown and raised student, but currently attending Loyola University of Chicago. When I am not studying in school, I work at Starbucks as a Barista, and I am also an actor. As someone who struggled with ADHD in school as a young child, I know how tough and frustrating it can be. I have learned many techniques to get through even the most challenging times in school. Over the summer, I helped a middle school girl complete her online math course with an A, and I have also tutored a high school freshman with her English and writing classes. I am now a college student attending Loyola University Chicago and I am majoring in Visual Communications and Film. I have helped many students from ages 10-18 improve their writing skills at the Kumon tutoring facilities in Florida, and I absolutely love working with kids. I would love to help young students succeed through school and improve their grades because I understand how stressful it can be to not understand what is going on in class. I would love to help bring confidence to students the best I can.
