About Danielle

My name is Danielle, and I have 10 years of experience teaching all ages and levels.

I started tutoring in after school programs while I was in high school. I helped students in all grades and subjects with homework and general questions. In college I provided English lessons to French and Italian families in the Chicagoland area, and then moved to Italy where I became ESL certified.

I lived and taught in Italy for 3 years encompassing all ages, from kindergarten to adult. I took part in after school English programs, as well as private lessons in the language school I was working for. I also tutored Italian students in their English Reading and Language Arts courses, including essay writing and comprehension. I tutored on the side, tailoring lessons to fit each individual learner. These lessons were given in the privacy of my clients' homes. I created an individual syllabus for each student, and incorporated supplementary materials to help them better understand each concept.

I graduated summa cum laude from DePaul University, and graduated with honors from my high school. I am very familiar with all elementary and middle school subjects, and am very comfortable teaching English to high school students.
