I have a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from Appalachian State University and 7 years of professional experience tutoring students of all ages. I specialize in Reading, Creative Writing, and English as a Second Language, as well as Improvisation. I believe in making a connection with the student to find the level they are at and help them grow from there toward their goals. I use conversation, reading materials, and homework to help students get involved in the class and the tools to learn on their own.
