Hello! My name is Kelly. I have been a teacher for the past 6 years in Chicago. While I am personally moving on to a new career path, I enjoy working with students and hope to keep that connection through tutoring! I have mostly taught grades between Kindergarten and 3rd grade, however I am certified and have experience with students up to 8th grade.
Working on the Southside of Chicago, I have worked with a variety of students with different backgrounds- however I believe that all students should have access to great education! I am available to support for reading or math. For reading instruction, I have worked specifically with guided reading to help students with reading fluency, comprehension, and writing. For math instruction, I have taught Common Core math standards using the Engage New York/Eureka Math curriculum. I have attended professional development sessions to support all subjects so I'm willing to support students in other ways that may fit. Looking forward to meeting and working with you!
