I have a Bachelor's degree in English Literature and a minor in Technical and Professional Writing from Western Washington University. I have a certification in TESOL/TEFL education and spent four years in South Korea teaching English as a Foreign/Second Language. I am currently a graduate student at East Carolina University enrolled in the Multicultural and Transnational Literatures program. I currently have a 4.0. I have extensive experience with working with all ages, from elementary education for children up to university students who need help composing essays and editing. I am a trained editor and specialize in MLA format, which is standard to most English programs. I am happy to help with essay format, composition, editing, or for students whose first language is not English. Though I am mostly interested in teaching English and its related subjects, I am happy to help children who need help with elementary math--prior to completing my BA and moving to Korea, I was a private tutor and often helped elementary students improve their math skills.
