I'm currently ABD for a PhD in Cultural Anthropology at the University of Iowa, and I've lived in Germany for two years in conjunction with my research. I have studied German for over twelve years, and use German every day in my work--I'm so excited to help you learn this fun and sometimes difficult language! I have over six years of teaching experience, and my specialties include helping students improve grammar and pronounciation (some of the most difficult and frustrating parts of language learning!). I'm excited to work with students at any level, from beginners just getting to started, to advanced speakers looking to avoid getting rusty.
