About Errin

My 22 years of teaching Elementary Education provide valuable experience and expertise to tutoring any struggling reader. I have been a classroom teacher in both first and second grade, a Literacy Coach and the majority of my years have been working as a K-5 Reading Interventionist. It is my passion to be able to work with struggling readers and to teach them the strategies necessary to become an independent, proficient and efficient reader! I have Reading Recovery training and a Masters degree in Elementary Education. I am currently working as a part-time Interventionist in a Schools For Rigor building. Schools For Rigor enriches teachers to give them excellent skills in teaching students based upon the state standards and data driven instruction. This provides students with the best teaching practice available.
