About Amy

As a trained teacher and licensed professional counselor, I have taught kids and adults ages 5-72, including a wide range of intellectual abilities, but no matter whom I am teaching, I always consider their individuality first. What do you want out of tutoring? What subject matter do you need to know? How do you learn best? How can I help you reach your goals? (Maybe even beyond the classroom?)

I look forward to having the opportunity to help you master subjects that were once challenging. We CAN do this together!

Master’s level counselor and tutor, specializing in writing awesome, effective essays, helping students perform their best on exams and quizzes, studying smarter (not just “harder”) and sharing proven methods for coping with test and writing anxiety.
