I have a Master's degree in Health Science from Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health and a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology from Universidad Metropolitana UMET, Puerto Rico. I speak fluently English and Spanish. Started tutoring in high school and continued doing it in college with more than 6 years of experience with people of all ages. This helped me improve and polish my skills of teaching and to have the patience needed to work with other people regardless of their academic background or way of learning. I worked as a high school teacher in a private school in Puerto Rico educating different subjects like Biology, Chemistry, and Trigonometry. I use my own ways of understanding a myriad of topics, but also integrate different ways to interpret the same message to help my students comprehend the material in a fun and easy way. My goal is to make sure you are able to understand the material and be capable of translating what you learn in your language of understanding, whether it is by helping with homework or helping you study for an exam.
