I am a GA certified teacher, with experience teaching deaf and hard of hearing students for over 20 years. I’m also a nationally certified interpreter with RID. I have superior/superior plus American Sign Language skills as measured by the ASLPI(American Sign Language Proficiency Interview). I have taught Deaf/deaf students from k-1-2 grade, in group settings and one on one. My forte lies in getting students to increase their reading levels by increasing their understanding of American Sign Language and correlating it to their reading needs.
