My name is D'Valarie Travis-Taylor and I am currently a substitute teacher with the Douglas County School District. I received both my degree in Sociology and a Paralegal Certificate in 1994. I ventured into graduate school and successfully completed the requirements towards a Master's Degree in Public Administration. After a successful career as a paralegal and human resources professional, I began substitute teaching so that I could have a schedule that would allow me to delve further into the lives of my children. I found that I love teaching and would like to have an opportunity to be a part of a student's educational success!
