I am working on my doctorate in education and have a master's degree in psychology. I consider myself more of a coach (and am a certified life coach) and love working with clients and helping them gain understanding and clarity of material. My approach is one that helps give you confidence and provides support -- often, when we feel overwhelmed by a subject, it can shake our self-confidence. By incorporating coaching with tutoring, my goal is to help you feel empowered by education -- not embarrassed. Other work-related experience includes writing for two newspapers and occasionally being a blogger for The Huffington Post. Additionally, I home school my 12-year-old son and have three rescue dogs who are ridiculously spoiled. (The pups, not my son, although it may be a toss-up!)
