I am a PhD student at the University of Georgia studying the developmental and cellular biology of fungi that infect plants. My expertise is hands-on teaching in a lab setting, but I believe my skills will translate well to tutoring. I have had a passion for science since I was a young boy, which lead to me earning my B.S. in Biology from the University of North Georgia and finally continuing my studies at UGA. I spent 5 years working for my Alma Mater setting up and assistant teaching biology labs before I joined UGA as a research scientist.
My goal in tutoring is to show that anyone can excel in STEM courses, whether you have a passion for becoming a scientist or just trying to survive a class. At the minimum, I hope that my love and excitement for science will make topics less scary for you.
I hope to be your tutor. See you soon!
